Large Modern Bowie knife, I*XL by Wostenholm & Son, Sheffield, England and marked “Original design by Colonel James Bowie”; also inscribed on cross guard “MAJOR WM. ORBELO”; approximately 15” overall with a 10” blade, thick stag grips and an I*XL marked leather sheath. The late Major Orbelo was a well-known gun collector in Texas and Veteran of the Vietnam War.
